Get started with millipede keeping with our millipede starter kit. The kit has all the essentials to keep one of the true giants of the arthropod world, the Giant African Train Millipede/giant fire millipede depending on availability of species. These gentle giants make fascinating pets and are simple to look after, requiring just a bit of fresh veg or fruit to supplement the wood and leaf litter food/substrate supplied with the kit.
Please note, if the room you intend to keep your millipede in is colder than 22 degrees then you may need a heat mat.

The Pro Rep MINI Terrarium 508x305x254mm is the perfect size to provide a compact yet spacious home for your crabs, featuring a top-opening ventilated lid. The enclosure provides enough depth for you to provide enough depth for your crabs to burrow. Fill the enclosure to around a third it’s height with crab bedding, you can slope this downward towards the pool area. Make sure the pool is level when you position it. Plant the plants and moss towards the rear of the enclosure, use the opuwa wood to create structure in your terrascaping. Position the cork bark for the crabs to hide in and add the leaf litter. Finally, fill the pool (use a water conditioner for fish) and you now have an ideal home for your crabs.
You may wish to consider adding a heat mat to one side of the enclosure but this will depend on the temperature of the room you are keeping the crabs in.

We’re confident in the quality husbandry, shipping, and packaging of our livestock. On the rare occasion an animal arrives in poor condition, we will provide credit for the cost of that animal. If all animals in the shipment arrive in poor condition, we will also provide credit for the postage.
We try to make it as easy as possible to help any unwell critters, and ensure you can get your money back. There are a couple of steps to go through before a refund can be issued.
If you’ve received an unwell animal in the mail:
1. If it is safe to do so, (your pet is not medically significant or harmful) please remove the animal from its transport container, ideally onto your hand. We ask this as invertebrates, particularly insects, are experts at ‘playing dead’.
2. To provide you with the best advice going forward and to confirm the condition of your pet, we kindly request a short video of the animal in question before your refund can be processed. This can be uploaded on our ‘live guarantee refunds form’, or you can email it straight to us.
3. We typically respond within 24 hours, but please allow 1-3 working days for a response. Once it’s confirmed that you are eligible for a refund, we’ll get process the credit to your account.
We’ll need this information to reach us within 7 days after you’ve received your pet. We cannot provide any live guarantee to animals that have been refused, returned, or not collected.
