Why we’ve chosen these items:

The ghost mantis is a small, hardy species that will thrive in a smaller environment. They are not only unique and beautiful, but a brilliant choice for beginner keepers. For live food, we’ve selected Drosophila Hydei fruit flies, a larger species of fruit fly that is the preferred food source for small mantis nymphs.  This setup includes a detailed care-guide to provide you with instructions on caring for your ghost mantis.

Creature Care acrylic insect terrarium is the perfect size to provide a compact and affordable home for smaller praying mantis species such as Ghost Mantis and Flower mantises. At 20cm tall, this enclosure provides over 3x the height of these species’ total body length for safe moulting. Ready-to-use coir substrate allows you to get your setup prepared quickly without the preparation of a solid coir block. Coir is a moisture-retaining bedding ideal for gently releasing humidity into your pet’s enclosure. The ultra fine-mist spray bottle ensures you can provide a drink to your pet without the risk of drowning in large water droplets. For decor, we’ve opted to add some small sticks along with fake plant stems for a natural feel. These provide additional surface area to the environment, and allow your pet to efficiently navigate their enclosure. The included moss adds a pop of colour while adding to the ambient humidity.
