Why We’ve Selected These Items:

The ‘My First Spider’ Tarantula Setup includes a 12cm x 12cm x 8cm ventilated plastic habitat, featuring a small opening for secure feeding of your spider. Use the soft brush to gently coax your spider into their habitat with a firm, consistent pressure. The soft brush can also be used to gently guide wandering livefood insects towards your spider. To make your setup look the part, we’ve added an artificial stick-on pothos plant cutting. This decorative plant adheres to the base or wall of your plastic enclosure via suction cup. Then, hydrate your coco-coir disc with water, and add in the moisture-retaining coir substrate, and top your substrate with some of the sterilized woodland leaves.

We’ve opted to add moss to this kit for its vibrant green colour, which can be dampened or left dry according to your species needs. Together, you’ve got an enclosure that not only looks the part, but is expertly curated to give your spiderling the best chance of survival. And – your baby tarantula will feel at home in this naturalistic habitat.

Spiderlings under 4cm (allowing for space of at least 3x body length for moulting).
