The inert nature of this sand ensures that it won’t negatively impact the pH or water chemistry of your setup, making it a safe and attractive option for desert dwelling invertebrates, land, and hermit crabs when mixed with coco coir. Pre-washed to remove contaminants and free from dyes and dust, it’s ready to be used straight from the bag—although a quick rinse is recommended.
