Why We’ve Selected These Items:
ProRep’s 16 x 16 x20cm acrylic terrarium keeps in humidity for your pet praying mantis while providing plenty of room for it to thrive in. At 20cm tall, it’s the ideal height for nymphs and species growing around 3 inches such as ghost mantis, orchid mantis, and giant African mantis, spiny flower mantis, and giant Asian. ProRep’s 365g coco-coir brick can be soaked in water to form a small amount of soft, moisture-retaining substrate that maintains humidity, essential in ensuring your mantis can thrive and molt safely.
ZooMed’s combined hygrometer-thermometer temperature & humidity gauge provides an accurate reading of your enclosure’s parameters. This handy device sticks on to the enclosure walls, allowing for easy-cleaning. Keeping the temperature & humidity up will keep your jumping spider happy, active, and healthy while it moults.
Included in this kit is a great selection of natural twigs, along with 15cm cork bark to give your pet more surface area in its enclosure. The golden pothos plant is exceptionally hardy, your mantis will love to hide between its leaves waiting for prey to ambush. Plants have the added benefit of boosting the humidity in your enclosure through the slow release of moisture. Super Reptile’s 15 x 15 heat mat is an affordable and efficient heating option for keeping the enclosure nice and toasty, boosting your pet’s metabolism and allowing it to grow quickly. And, to make the enclosure truly stand out, the mini-pack of green terrarium moss completes the natural appearance of your mantis habitat.
