Giant Rainforest Mantis, Hierodula Majuscula

The Giant Rainforest Mantis, scientifically known as Hierodula majuscula, is an impressive and beautiful species of praying mantis that inhabits the lush rainforests of Southeast Asia. As its name suggests, this mantis species is known for its large size, making it a popular choice among mantis enthusiasts and collectors. Hierodula majuscula is a large species as typical of members of the genus Hierodula, with females reaching an average length of 4 inches (10 to 12.7 cm) and males slightly smaller at around 3 to 4 inches (7.6 to 10 cm).
